I’ve always felt that home is where the ♥ is.

I feel that our longing for home is sacred and a feeling of homecoming elusive. My vision is to transform houses into homes and communities sources of nourishment so we are fortified to give more to our world.

I was dubbed the,The Philosopher Queen Article in Ottawa Magazine 2010 which I enjoyed too much… I come by it honestly though, my mom’s Hungarian father’s mother eloped with her tutor and lost her title … And there’s my roots as a student of philosophy, eastern arts, meditation, tai chi. I have been blessed to study with Master Chan Ky Yut, an internationally renowned artist with a heart as vast as our oceans who has kept my aspirations alive to make a positive contribution.

It’s funny I’ve always had media karma. You will 40 articles about my work over the last few years on my website.http://www.mkdb.ca/media_coverage.html I’m passionate about what I do and very good at it but I feel this attention comes to me because I have a vision and am enough of a rebel to shake things up a little. I feel our world is hungry for some shaking and hope we can work together to grow our communities with a vision to abundance and respect for all life.

Your ideas and comments are most WElCOME! It’s kinda strange putting this out there into cyberspace, an act of faith that you will keep alive each time you respond as I share this with love. Harmony is my life’s thesis and here are the fruits of my focus.

GREENSPEED is a vision of a regenerative community that I created out of candy for Habitat for Humanity that I share here cause it’s a little bit delightful. The kids in my life would just stare at it and tell me stories about their lives there. If we can dream it we can make it.
