Accessibility Renovations: Interview with Moneca Kaiser

by Alëna Iouguina, November, 11 2013

Brynna Leslie of Ottawa Community News wrote a lovely article on the subject of universal design and how it’s desperately needed in Canada’s capital. “As Ottawa makes efforts toward a city that’s more senior-friendly, regulators and developers also need to be thinking about flex-housing and design on a larger scale.”  – writes Brynna. Moneca Kaiser responds: “True design is fluid and dynamic. Design is living and takes into account the lifecycle and environment of the people living in a space or interacting with an object – and it considers both the present and the future of the space.”
